At just 24 years of age, Jade Eagleson's voice takes listeners back to the days of Johnny Cash, George Jones and Randy Travis, in that it's unmistakably country. Few can conjure up the retro country tone that Eagleson delivers in spades.
In August 2017, Eagleson was crowned winner of the Boots & Hearts Emerging Artist showcase, beating out a lengthy list of other talented artists. Following the festival, Jade signed with Universal Music and went on to record his debut single, "Got Your Name On It". The song garnered over 19 million streams and climbing to #6 on Canadian Country Radio. Shortly after the song's music video was released, Jade was featured as YouTube's ‘Trending Artist On The Rise' and was featured on the website's homepage, becoming the first Canadian-signed artist in any genre to receive such an honour. As a result, "Got Your Name On it" was streamed more than a half-a-million times in a 24-hour period.
Since then, Jade has released his debut, self-titled EP containing four tracks, including two versions of the fan favourite "Got Your Name On It". On top of the dual feature, the album consists of "Count The Ways" and "Still Gonna Be You". Back in the Fall of 2018, Jade toured with Gord Bamford, accompanying him on a 40+ day tour around Canada.
