CF Toronto Eaton Centre approached TFA to increase attendance and excitement for their annual tree-lighting ceremony by leveraging the popularity of an iconic Canadian artist.

SOLUTION

TFA Brand Consulting orchestrated the participation of the legendary Barenaked Ladies as hosts for the ceremony. They unveiled the spectacular 114-foot Christmas tree and led a festive sing-along featuring the Toronto Children's Chorus.

RESULT

The event attracted over 25,000 attendees, marking the start of the holiday season at North America's busiest shopping center. It generated more than 1,000,000 digital impressions across national media outlets such as CP24, Breakfast Television, Exclaim!, CTV Toronto, and others.
