Western Retail Lumber Alliance provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information in the building supply industry at their annual conference. There is one particular evening that is dedicated to entertaining the attendees with musical guests. In years passed we’ve had Paul Brandt, Johnny Reid, Burton Cummings, Loverboy to name a few.
Responsible for booking musical entertainment which includes consulting on talent available in relation to budget guidelines, drawing up offers, submitting and negotiating offers with artist representation, confirmation and coordination of internal artist promotion, all administration of contracts, riders and show payments, responsible for hiring production to coordinate all day of show details and execute the show.
The Feldman Agency’s relationship with the Western Retail Lumber Association began in 2009 to utilize entertainment to enhance the annual WRLA trade fair and create a focal point to celebrate the accomplishments of the WLRA membership and create a higher quality experience for those attending. Up until then once the trade floor closed – delegates would leave town missing a special opportunity to meet and conclude deals in social setting. Since TFA was hired to consult and source talent for this special evening, WRLA has seen a packed house every year!
