This music festival marked the completion of its move to Kitchener on July 2014, with the opening of the gates at the annual summer festival. With a lineup that included such legendary artists as Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Slash, Styx, Collective Soul, Big Wreck, Moist and Kim Mitchell, more than 25,000 eager fans poured into the park each day. Add in events leading up to the festival launch like the food festival, short film screenings and live entertainment at Kitchener City Hall and final attendance numbers landed at 60,000. The festival, by all accounts, was a huge success with more than $7 million being pumped into the Kitchener economy.
