The Glorious Sons Play Host To Sold-Out Crowds During Highly Praised "S.O.S. Tour"
JUNO Award winning rockers The Glorious Sons have much to celebrate as they continue to make their way across the country for the final leg of their headlining Canadian "S.O.S. Tour", which wraps November 22nd with a massive play at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. Aptly titled for their chart topping current single "S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)" – which spent an impressive ten consecutive weeks at #1 at Canadian Rock Radio and sits in the Top 10 on the Active Rock charts in the U.S. – the "S.O.S. Tour" has seen multiple sold out nights including the kick off in Kamloops, plus back-to-back shows in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom and the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, all garnering high praise and enthusiasm from fans and national media. The band also recently announced their 2019 U.S. "S.O.S. Tour" dates, kicking off in Cambridge, MA on February 12th.

"S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)" garnered international attention when the track landed on multiple high-profile digital charts, including the Spotify Global Viral 50 and the US Viral 50, helping to boost the track to over 5 million streams worldwide. On December 30th, The Glorious Sons will return to Vancouver to headline the Commodore Ballroom for the SiriusXM World Juniors After Party, presented via a new partnership between Hockey Canada and SiriusXM Canada for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship. Prior to returning home for the "S.O.S. Tour", the band was out on the road as direct support on Welshly Arms U.S. national tour, and will head south of the border again immediately following their Canadian tour for dates with U.K. four-piece The Struts.
The Glorious Sons’ extensive 2018 touring schedule has seen them play 12 different countries across 10 different time zones, hitting the festival circuit this past summer with performances at Hang Out Music Festival (Gulf Shores, AL), Firefly Music Festival (Dover, DE), and the esteemed Reading & Leeds Festivals (U.K.). On June 26th, they had the privilege of performing as direct support for The Rolling Stones at the prestigious Orange Velodrome in Marseille, France.
Since the release of their sophomore album "Young Beauties and Fools" (October 2017), The Glorious Sons have celebrated numerous milestones, including their JUNO Award win for "Rock Album of the Year", being named "Rock Group of the Year" at the 2018 Indies and the GOLD-certification of lead single "Everything is Alright", which topped the charts and became their first #1 in the Alternative Radio format.
